Location is the main plus. Food is better at the neighboring lodge, and the beds are hard. You pay a lot to be this close.
Good Value for Money, Neat, No-fuss, innovative room layout
Bad water pressure, Limited food options, Slow WI-FI
perfect location, simple but cosy rooms, good food and service all day long.
Classy style and ambiance, great food and service, tranquil setting-everything I needed.
Being so close to Chichen Itza was so convenient, it is really only a 10 min walk down the road. We hired a guide from the hotel and I would recommend getting one as they know all the little details of the area. The pool area was was relaxing to come back to and have a beer after waling around for 3hrs in the ruins.
The pool lounge chairs were under a trees that birds were eating from and the seed casings were falling all over the place, not a big problem as all you had to do was move your chair.
Location, near Chicken Itza.
There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere with good food and friendly staff.
I was disappointed that there was no light show at the ruins, as this was the reason we came the night previous to our planned visit to the site. There was no explanation as to why this was not available. It would have been useful to have the information on the website if there are certain times of the year when the light show does not take place. It certainly did not ruin our visit though.
Cleanliness, Pool, close to the ruins!
Hard to find, should have better signs on the road. Poor road next to hotel!
Great location and cute style hotel with everything that you need at a reasonable price.
Only complaint I heard were from people that thought they must have been staying at the Hilton...yeah the service can be a bit slow but hey.
Villa Arqueologica Chichen Itza and Villa Arqueologica Chichen Coba are both excellent places to stay when visiting the adjoining Maya ruins. Excellent place to stay when visiting the sites, within walking distance of the entrance. Value for money compared with some of the larger hotel is excellent. Food provided was great and good selection of dishes, attentive staff and lovely setting to sit and eat, so quiet and peaceful. Good parking at both sites.
Proximity to Chichen-Itza and Blue Cenote Cleanliness and service
Small size of room, unable to leave window open and feel secure
It was ideally placed near the back entrance to the Chichen Itza site so we were able to get in just after 8:00am when it opened and have the site almost to ourselves until the coachloads started arriving a couple of hours later. The hotel is very comfortable, the food good, and the large swimming pool a bonus after walking round the site. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
i enjoyed the breakfast and the whole sconcept of the hotel. It was tranquil and just a 7 minute walk from the entrace of Chichen Itza.,
the rooms were not very clean.
The hotel was very conveniently located, the rooms were a good size and very clean.
The food was terrible!!! But there is no other choice in the area, except for the restaurant in the hotel across the street, which is quite expensive.
Very good location to visit the ruins.
